Add a stoplight column

What is the easiest way to add a stoplight column to my schedule?  I want to control the color of the stoplight for each task.

There are several ways to display indicators in Milestones Professional.  The quickest and easiest is by using a Stoplight SmartColumn.  Follow these steps to add one to an existing schedule:

 

Add a stoplight column

  1. On the Insert tab, in the Rows, Columns section, choose New Column.
  2. From the list of column types, pick Stoplight...
  3. The Stoplight Options dialog box is displayed.  For a quick and easy stoplight column with the default options, click OK.

 

Enter the stoplight values

  1. Choose  (the toolbox Text tool.)
  2. Click on the first row of the stoplight column and enter a number (1 for Green, 2 for Yellow, 3 for Red, or 4 for Blue)

 

After entering 1 on the first row, 2 on the second, 3 on the third and 4 on the fourth (as an example), your stoplight column will look like this:
