Date range override for each page

Question:

I created a year-long schedule which starts on 10/1/2022 and ends on 9/31/2023, taking up one full page. How can I include another date range in the same schedule, say for the next year beginning 10/1/2022 and ending 9/31/2023?

That is, can the date range for each page be different?

Answer:

Yes. You can override the date range for each page. Page 1 can be one year, while page 2 can be one day or one year or one week...any override you choose.

  1. On the Dates tab, choose More Settings.

  2. Choose Page by Page Date Overrides.

Question 2:

I have a roadmap that goes from 2017 to 2030 (by year). I cannot seem to get the year range on two pages. I keep adding a page and then changing the year range on each page. when I go to save it, it does not save, but stays 2017-2030. HELP.

Answer:

When saving a schedule, Milestones will delete blank pages at the end.  A blank page is considered to be a page with nothing in the columns and no symbols on the task rows.  Be sure that the page you are setting up has at least something in the columns or at least one symbol.
