Fill a symbol when complete

Question:

I have a "swim lane" schedule which has many tasks on a single row. Some of the tasks are complete and some are not complete. Is it possible to set some of the symbols complete so they are filled while leaving some of the symbols hollow to show they are not complete?

Answer:

There are a couple ways to accomplish this.

Method #1: Outline the schedule and roll-up to create swim lanes

Using this method, the % Complete will be set for each task row. The symbols and bars will be "rolled-up" to the swim lanes.

Method #2: Add many tasks to a single task row, setting % complete for individual task bars and milestones

Using this method, each row in Milestones will have many tasks. The % complete will be set for individual bars and symbols.
