Hide calendar icons in a date SmartColumn

Question:     

All of my date columns display small calendar icons.  Is there a way to remove these?

 

Answer:

Here's how to hide the calendar icons:

    1. Right click the column heading for the date column.

    2. Choose the Column Type (SmartColumn) Settings tab.

    3. Show calendar icons:
