Bars are missing lines on ends

Question:     

When I print my schedule, the lines at the ends of the bars are missing.  What could be causing this?  I am using symbol shape #28 (blank symbol).  On the screen the bars look fine.

 

Answer:

This is likely caused by the Force Background Color on Symbol/Text/Dates option.  

  1. Choose the Tools tab.
  2. In the Program Options section, choose Dates:
  3. Then, Force Background Color on Symbol/Text/Dates.
