Merge schedules

Question:

Can several schedules be merged together?

I am creating a master schedule. I'm building several individual schedules which I want to merge together. Is there an easy way to do this?

Answer:

If you need to merge together the same schedules on a regular basis:

Set up a "master schedule"

If you need to merge a schedule with another schedule one time only, use the "merge" feature:

Open the first schedule

Choose File | Open | Chart to Merge. Then select desired chart and click Open. This can be done with one schedule at a time. (Schedules being merged should have the same column layout.)
