Recurring tasks and their impact on duration values

Question:

When scheduling a recurring task which is 10 days long (for example), are the durations of the recurring tasks going to change when those tasks cross non-working weekends?

Answer:

No, when scheduling a recurring task, the duration will not change.

In the example below, the non-working weekends are highlighted. The initial task is 10 working days from 1/13 to 1/24. After applying the recurring task feature (to display this task beginning on the 13th of every month), the first recurrence begins on the 13th of February and ends on the 26th for a total of 10 working days, while crossing two non-working weekends. Thus, the duration of the initial task and task recurrences do not change--both have 10 day durations.
