Shade holidays

Answer:

Curtains can be used to shade any date range.  However, it's also possible to set up and shade holidays.  

1. On the Dates tab, choose Date Range Tools | Holidays (schedule) or Holidays (global.)  Click each holiday.  Use the scroll bar on the right to move forward and backward in time.  Optionally click the small color box in the corner of each date to set the color.
2. On the Dates tab, choose Weekly, Daily and Holiday Shading.   Shade Holidays.
