Space symbols without changing their dates

Let's say your symbols now look something like this:  

To space them out without changing their dates, you could adjust their vertical placement within the task row.  By default, symbols are placed on the middle of the row, but it's also possible to place them in the "upper" location of a row or on the "lower" location.

 If the keyboard up and down keys cause your Milestones Window to scroll (instead of moving the symbol position) it is likely that the Scroll Lock key on your keyboard is active.  Locate the ScrLk key and press once to deactivate.

Adjust the vertical position of a symbol:

1. Click once on the symbol to be adjusted, using the (arrow tool).  If you have trouble selecting the correct symbol (since the symbols are so close to each other), use the keyboard left and right arrow keys to move from one symbol to another on the task row.

2. While holding down the Shift key, use the keyboard up and down arrow keys to adjust the position of the symbol.  In the example below, the "before" pictures shows three symbols very close to each other.  The "after" picture shows how the symbols look after moving one to the lower position and one to the upper position.
