Symbol count SmartColumn

This type of SmartColumn counts the number of symbols that appear on one line.

Create a Symbol Count SmartColumn:

1. On the Insert tab, choose New Column.

2. Choose Symbol Count from the list.  

The Symbol Count SmartColumn counts every symbol, including "blank" symbols, comment symbols, and baseline symbols.
