Update linked symbols when schedule is opened

Question:

I know how to set master projects to automatically update when they are opened, but I can’t figure out how to do this for projects that have linked symbols. Help?

Answer:

Turn on the automatic updating of linked symbols when schedule is opened:

Choose any linked symbol on the schedule. The toolbar changes to Current Object: Symbol.
Choose the Symbol links tab.
In the Options section, Update symbol Links when schedule is opened.
