Change the symbol's outline pattern or color

Select a color and pattern for the border surrounding a symbol.

Customize a toolbox symbol's outline color and pattern:

1. In the toolbox, double-click the symbol to change.

2. In the Symbol Options dialog, select the Color/Pattern/Size/Shadow tab.

3. Make selections for the line pattern or outline color.  The Sample Symbol on top of the dialog box will reflect selections.
