Can't pick Project file name when refreshing

Question:

Usually when I go to refresh a Milestones Professional schedule from Project, I am asked to select the Microsoft Project file name.  I have one schedule (only one!) which never prompts me to select a file and I wonder what's going on.  Any ideas?

Answer:

It's likely that you (or someone else) set the one schedule up to use a Refresh List.

Steps to clear the refresh list:

Check to see if there is a Microsoft Project file stored in the  schedule's Refresh File List.  If there is, then clear the refresh list.

  1. Refresh file list is found on the Connections tab.  Select Refresh Previously Imported Project and then in the drop down choose Create/Edit Refresh File List.

  2. If there is a file in the list select it and then select Delete Schedule.
