Create and add custom symbols to the toolbox

Question:

I am looking for a way to import a custom symbol to the toolbox. For example, I would like to show a missile symbol for the project launch date. Is this possible?

Answer:

There a few of ways to do this.

One would be to create your own symbols using the Milestones Symbol Maker.
Another would be to convert images to .BMP files which can be used in the toolbox.
A third way (for some symbols) would be to use Wingdings as symbols
