Extra thick line on schedule

Question:     

I can't figure out how to get rid of this extra thick line on my schedule.  It's apparently not a grid line and I can't pick it.

 

Answer:

Apparently, this is a very small task row, probably caused by inadvertently shrinking it.  To select and delete:

  1. Select the task row right above it (Substeps)
  2. Use the mouse down arrow to select the row to be deleted.
  3. Press the keyboard delete button.
