Licensing for automation

Question:

I have developed an application which uses Milestones Professional to generate schedules on the fly through a browser. Do people who need to access my application require a license?

Answer:

End user licenses: Volume pricing and server pricing is available for applications which will be deployed (used by other users).

For example: To deploy a server application which generates bitmaps with Milestones Professional based on entries made by an end user, and then presents those images to the end user, that user must be licensed to use Milestones Professional.
Generally speaking, if the user is interacting with the Milestones Professional automation interface, the user must be licensed. A user is defined as anyone who causes the Milestones Professional software to execute, either directly or from another application.

Developer licenses: Each developer needs nothing more than a standard Milestones Professional license. However each user of an application which causes Milestones Professional to execute requires a license.
