Scroll-Lock affects use of the arrow keys

Question:

I am trying to use the keyboard arrow keys (left, right, up, down) to adjust the position of a freeform text block. When I press the up arrow, my screen jumps. Same with the down, left and right arrows.

I am trying to move symbols to different outlines within the row but holding down shift and then using the arrow to go up or down. This normally works but is not currently working for me.

Answer:

When the Scroll-Lock is active (key on your keyboard), the arrow keys behave differently. Instead of moving an object that you have selected in Milestones, the keys will scroll your schedule up, down, left or right.

So, if you intend to move an object (and not scroll), press the Scroll-Lock button to de-activate it.
