Change the date order and separator

The short date format (e.g. mm/dd/yy, dd/mm/yy) and date separator (e.g. / , .) used in date SmartColumns, dates attached to symbols, the current date display, and some date heading styles, is set by the Regional and Language Options in the Control Panel.

Change the system's default date order and date separator:

1. 1. Open the Windows Control Panel.

   2. Open Regional and Language Options.

   3. Choose the Date tab.

   4. Choose one of the options listed for Short date format.

   5. Choose one of the options listed for Date separator.  

Example:

For example, January 15, 2026, can be shown as:

1. • 15/26

   • 15.26

   • 15.1.26

   • 26.1.15

   • 26/1/15
