Milestones Professional installation

Milestones Professional's installer can be downloaded from https://www.kidasa.com.  Press the Downloads button from the KIDASA.com main page to find the version of the software you want to download. To fully use the software, a serial number and a program key code are needed.  

Locked trial version

If the software says that it is a "locked trial version":

• Check the version of the software which has been installed.  To check the version, choose Full About Dialog on the Help tab.

• Ensure that the version installed matches the version which has been purchased.  For example, if you have purchased Milestones Professional 2025, but you have installed Milestones Professional 2023, the program keycode from your version 2025 purchase will not work. Each version of the software has its own serial number and program key.

Silent Install

Large companies often need to do a "silent install".  Here's an example of using MSI properties to pre-fill the various boxes.  Contact support@kidasa.com for further information.

Installation on a server

Milestones Professional can be installed on a server, for remote access by multiple users via Citrix or Remote Desktop.  Each user who has access to the Milestones software installed on the server requires an assigned Milestones Professional software license.  Licenses cannot be shared.

Installation on more than one device by a named user

Each named user can install Milestones Professional on up to two devices for their own use.  For example, a desktop at work and a laptop for home and travel.

Moving to a new computer

This is easy.  Just un-install the software from the old computer and re-install it on the new computer.  Forgot your serial number?  Contact us and we will try to help.

Transfer a license to another person at the same company

Just make sure person number 1 has un-installed the software.  Then, person number 2 should install the software using the serial number and program key code originally assigned to person number 1.  Last, send an e-mail to support@kidasa.com letting us know about the transfer so that our records for the serial number can be updated to show that person number 2 is now the registered license holder.
