Dashed connectors appear when solid is set in the toolbox

Answer:

On the above example, the current date line is the red dashed vertical line shown in September.

The issue with this chart is that the option to fill bars to the status date is chosen.  This option affects solid line bars by causing them to be dashed after the status date.

Turn off Fill to Status for Connectors

1. Choose the Dates tab.  

2. In the Date Related Settings section, un-check Bars: Fill to Status Date
