Draw a bar across a single day

Question:

When adding a task bar to the schedule, the start and end symbols are automatically placed in the middle of the day (visually). Is there a way to have the task bar's endpoints positioned at the very beginning and very end of the day segments, respectively?

Answer:

Choose More Settings.. on the Dates tab.
Click Hourly/Minute...
Allow Hourly Detail.

Then you can place milestones at the beginning and end of a day.

You can also select Allow Minute Detail in the same screen if you need to be more precise.

To set an exact hour without using the click-and-drag method, you can double-click on a symbol and enter the time in the screen that appears. Or, you can key the time in the Start and End SmartColumns if you are using them.
