Does your product support dates prior to the Common Era (prior to A.D. dates)?

What is the earliest date supported by Milestones software? What is the latest?

Answer:

Milestones software supports dates from the year 100 CE (A.D.) through the year 7000 CE (A.D.).

This is due to the internal algorithms used that base all dates as an offset from year 1. Weekdays are only accurate for dates back to the adoption of the Gregorian calendar, which was different depending upon the country involved.

However, you can create custom date headings that display whatever you want. For example, you could map 2000 BCE (B.C.) - 1000 BCE (B.C.) to actual dates 1000 CE - 2000 CE, such that the date heading displayed would show the BCE dates, but when you input the dates for your timeline you would use years 1000 - 2000 CE.

The maximum number of monthly divisions in the date heading is 400.

The maximum number of yearly divisions in the date heading is 98
