Hyperlink from a symbol to a folder

Question:     

I know that you can link a symbol to another file, but can you link a symbol to a folder?

 

Answer:

To have a folder as a hyperlink destination, you need to:

  1. Click .

  2. Double-click a symbol on the schedule.

  3. Choose the Hyperlinks tab.

  4. Click the Add URL button.

  5. Type or paste the folder name into the Add URL option.

For example, enter c:\miles into the Add URL button, then a hyperlink of c:\miles is displayed.

When this hyperlink is selected, Windows Explorer starts and displays the c:\miles folder.
