Show all task rows

Question:     

I received the chart I'm working on from someone else in my office.  I've deleted some information but the summary lines aren't changing.  Do you know what might be causing this?

 

Answer:

Summary task rows pick up information from the sub-tasks.  If the summary bar is not changing when you adjust the information in the sub-task, there is probably other information you aren't seeing.  

 

You should first check the bottom right-hand side of your screen.  It should say "All Lines Visible."  If the status bar says "Some Lines Hidden," there are task rows rolled up that are not visible.  To see these task rows, you can go to View | Show All task rows.

 

Note: Be sure to check the entirety of the schedule for other dates you might have missed by expanding the schedule area to show previous and future months.
