Change the symbol position setting

1. In the toolbox, double-click the symbol to be changed.

2. Click the Text and Date Properties tab.

3. Under Symbol Position, click one of the 11 positions.

If this symbol already appears on the schedule, any bar attached to that symbol is also changed.

1. Click in the toolbox.

2. In the schedule area, click once on the symbol to be changed.  This will display the Selection menu.

3. Choose the Size/Color tab.

4. In the Other Overrides section, change the Sym. Position in Row from the drop-down menu.

1. Click in the toolbox.

2. In the schedule area, click once on the symbol to be changed.

3. Hold the Shift key, and then press the up arrow key to shift the symbol's position up or press the down arrow key to shift the symbol's position down.

   • In Step 2, if the user clicks on the left-most symbol in a symbol+bar+symbol combination, then the whole combination will shift according to the Step 3 choice.  

   • If the user clicks on the right-most symbol in a symbol+bar+symbol combination, then just that symbol will shift according to the Step 3 choice.

1. On the Tools tab, choose Edit.

2. Select a value between 10 and 300 to adjust the spacing.  (Vert. spacing)

Examples:

 

1. Select a task row.

2. The toolbar changes to Current Object: Task Row.

3. Choose the dropdown for Upper/Lower Symbol Spacing % (in the Task Row Settings section).
