Question:How do I add column data that shows me the "Task Row" that my milestone/bar is on? In "Symbol Properties" I can open tab "Vertical Links" to see that I have connected my milestone to "Task Row 403" but I have no way of finding that row. |
Answer:
Milestones Professional has quite a few SmartColumn types, including the Task Number column.
- On the Insert tab, click Rows|Columns|NewColumn
- From the list, pick Task Number...
- Click OK on the dialog box.
If a schedule is quite large, using the Vertical Links report can be helpful. Click Tools | Reports | Symbol | Vertical Links... to get a report of all symbols on a schedule which have either an incoming or outgoing vertical link.
