Percent complete view

The Percent Complete view mode replaces the Gantt bars and milestones with bar graphs indicating each task's percent complete.

Each task displays a red bar (default setting) indicating its percent complete. A bar's length corresponds to a task's percent complete value in relation to the date heading length. That is, a task which is 50% complete will display a red bar which traverses half of the date heading's length.

The percent complete bars do not represent start and stop dates.

To display the Percent Complete view, choose View | Viewing Options | Chart Type: Gantt-Percent Complete.

Example:

When switched to Percent Complete view, each task displays a red bar and value indicating its percent complete.

Options for the Percent Complete view can be found on the Tools tab.  Choose Tools | Program Options | General.

Cycle through toolbox bar colors:

By default, the task's percent complete column is used.  An alternate Values column can be selected.

  1.  The font display for the percent complete values on the bars is controlled by the default column text setting.  The summary percent complete red bar ignores any overriding status symbol placed on the summary row.
