The toolbar

The toolbar is a fast way to perform basic tasks.  Many of the instructions in this help system involve the use of the toolbar.  The toolbar changes depending on the item selected.

Here’s what the toolbar will look like when a symbol is selected on the schedule:

Remove gradient color display in the toolbar

1. Choose Tools | Program Options | General tab.

2. Use gradient color theme in menus and toolbar (checked by default) to display gradient color fading in the toolbar.

Use drop-down menus (legacy toolbar) instead of the default toolbar

1. Choose Tools | Program Options | General tab.

2. Use Standard Toolbar instead of legacy (smaller) toolbar.  

Switch to the legacy (old) toolbar

It's possible to switch to the original (legacy) smaller toolbar.  This might be desirable for those who have used Milestones Professional since its original release and are used to the way the older toolbox worked.

1. Choose Tools | General.

2. Use Standard Toolbar instead of legacy (smaller) toolbar.

User interface (theme) colors

Add a little spice to the Milestones Professional workspace with user interface theme colors. Choose from eight built in colors: Black, Silver, Green, Blue, Rose, Sunflower, Orange and Gold.

Find these options in Tools | Program Options | General | Theme Color

Expand the height of the toolbar

It's possible to increase the height of the toolbar.

1. Choose Tools | General.

2. For Toolbar Height Adjust (Pixels), select a number from 0 to 100 (0 is the default).
