Internet publishing and hyperlinks

Milestones Professional's Internet Publishing Wizard makes it easy to publish a complete hierarchy of linked schedules, complete with hotspots, in minutes.

Set up a hierarchy of schedules to be published

1. From a top-level or main schedule, add symbol Hyperlinks to other schedules (secondary schedules).

2. From the secondary schedules, add symbol Hyperlinks to detailed schedules if they exist.

Publish the hierarchy of schedules:

1. Open a top level schedule.

2. Choose File | Export Options | Internet.

3. HTML File with Optional Pictures.

4. Create HTML Files for Hyperlinked schedules from this file and all linked schedules.

5. Click through the other options in the Internet publisher.

Example: Schedule "drill-down" on a web page

The top-level schedule with Projects 1 through 4 has symbol hyperlinks to more detailed Milestones schedules. The detailed schedules can be linked to even more detailed schedules. When the Internet Publishing feature is applied to the top-level schedule, all linked schedules are converted to HTML pages with schedule images, complete with hotspots.
