Use a HyperLink to link to a specific Microsoft PowerPoint slide

Question:

My schedule currently uses symbol HyperLinks to attach documents that are critical to my project. Is there a way I can link from a symbol in Milestones Professional to a specific PowerPoint slide?

Answer:

Any hyperlink to a PowerPoint file can be preceded by a "slideNNN,"

Then, when Milestones activates the PowerPoint HyperLink, that particular slide will be activated. For example "slide002,c:\temp\slideshow.ppt" will cause c:\temp\slideshow.ppt to be loaded into PowerPoint and slide 2 to be shown.

If linking to a specific slide, the Add URL button must be used.
