Show average instead of total in summary row

Question:     

I have several Values columns on my Milestones Professional schedule.  Right now, in the summary bar, the value displayed is the total of all the underlying values.  I would prefer to show an average value.  Is there a way?

 

Answer:

Yes!  Here's how:

  1. Right-click the column heading for the values column.

  2. Choose Properties.

  3. In the Column Properties dialog box, choose the Column Type tab.

  4. Click the Properties button.  Check When shown in Summary Bar, show average instead of total:
