Toolbar bottom is cut off when using remote desktop

Question 1:     

When I use remote desktop to access my work computer from home the toolbar at the top of my schedule is getting cut off.  Any suggestions on how I can fix this?

Since I upgraded a few years back, I lost the list of tabs under “Selection” which allowed me to easily get to the “Symbol Links” tab.  Do you know what might be causing this because it looks like it is cut off, somehow.  Below is the view I get when I select a symbol.  My current version is MS Pro 2021.

Question 2:

The top RIbbon where File, Connections, Edit, Dates Insert, Layout format, etc goes missing periodically.. how do I ensure these items are not hidden.

 

Question 3:

My symbol tabs are missing when I select a symbol to modify.  I tried rebooting to no advail  Please advise.

 

Answer:

This can happen when the display resolution settings are different for remote desktop.  It can also happen when display settings are changed on a desktop. Fortunately, there's an easy fix:

  1. On the Tools Tab, in the Program Options section, click General.
  2. Click the Adjust Toolbar Height button and adjust the toolbar height as necessary.
