Weekends other than Saturday/Sunday

Answer:

Milestones' standard weekends are Saturday and Sunday.  However, there is a work-around which should help:

Set up for Thursday/Friday weekend:

1. On the Dates tab, in the Start and End Dates section, choose More Settings.

2. Choose Weekly/Daily/Holiday Shading...

3. Work Saturdays.

4. Work Sundays.

5. Shade Saturdays.

6. Shade Sundays.

7. Shade Holidays (if you want the weekends shaded)

8. Click OK.

9. On the Dates tab, choose Holidays (schedule).  

10. Select all Thursday and Friday dates.  This will establish them as non-working days.  Use the scroll bar to move from month to month.

Set up for Friday/Saturday weekend:

1. On the Dates tab, in the Start and End Dates section, choose More Settings.

2. Choose Weekly/Daily/Holiday Shading...

3. Work Saturdays.

4. Work Sundays.

5. Shade Saturdays. (if you want the weekends shaded)

6. Shade Holidays (if you want the weekends shaded)

7. Click OK.

8. On the Dates tab, choose Holidays (schedule).

9. Select all Friday dates.  This will establish them as non-working days.  Use the scroll bar to move from month to month.
