Manage pictures and other elements

The Tools menu offers a way to manage many elements of Milestones, including pictures, freeform text, drawing objects (lines, boxes, circles) and column cell overrides.  

Manage pictures:

1.  Choose Tools | Other Tools |

2. From the dropdown, click Manage Pictures.

3. Pick a picture to manage.

4. Use the options in the dialog box to edit the hyperlink, tag, or page number for a picture.

5. Choose Show on all pages to place the picture on all pages of the current schedule.

6. For pictures, choose Show on top to bring the picture in front of all other chart objects.

7. Choose Delete to delete the selected picture from the schedule.

Manage symbols:

1.  Choose Tools | Other Tools |

2. From the dropdown, click Manage Symbols.

3. Choose to remove elements from all symbols:

Manage lines, boxes or circles:

1. Choose Tools | Other Tools |

2. From the dropdown, click Manage Lines, Boxes and Circles.

3. Pick a line, box or circle from one of the drop downs.  (a box is selected in the screen below.)

4. Use the options in the dialog box to edit the hyperlink, tag, or page number for lines, boxes or circles.

5. Choose Show on all pages to place the line, box or circle on all pages of the current schedule.

6. For pictures, choose Show on top to bring the line, box or circle in front of all other chart objects.

7. Choose Delete all Lines, Delete all Boxes, or Delete all Circles to delete all lines, boxes or circles from the schedule

Manage freeform text:

1. Choose Tools | Other Tools |

2. From the dropdown, click Manage Freeform Text.

3. Make changes to HyperLink, tag or page number, or press Delete to remove the text from the schedule.
