Custom date formats

Question:     

In a date cell (column) is there an option to show the day of the week?

 

Is it possible to use the symbol date format "13-Apr-2018"?

 

I would like to show a date as June 13, 2019, rather than 6/13/2019.  Can I change the date format?

 

Answer:

Yes.  Most date options are available by choosing Dates | Date Related Settings | Set Symbol Date format.

What you want, however is a custom date format.   It's possible to use a custom date format for dates on your schedule, including:

    • symbol dates

    • dates displayed in date SmartColumns

    • Current date
