Working with Microsoft Project

Milestones Professional makes it easy to create presentation schedules from Microsoft Project and Microsoft Project Server.  

For many options, Microsoft Project does not need to be installed.  

Features which can be used with Project Installed:

 

• Import using Try a built-in template

• Import using Let the wizard guide you

• Import using Make a swimlane chart  

• Import using a custom template

• Build a "free-form" schedule and link it to Microsoft Project

• Link a symbol in Milestones to a selected Microsoft Project task for future "refresh"

• Link a task row in Milestones to selected Microsoft Project task(s) for future "refresh"

• Refresh (update) a Milestones Professional schedule using the latest Microsoft Project dates

• Export a Milestones Professional schedule as a new Microsoft Project schedule

• Example: Build a schedule which will refresh from multiple Microsoft Project schedules

• Update a Microsoft Project schedule from Milestones Professional

• Link a task or milestone to a Microsoft Project task (manually, by entering a symbol tag)

• Build a "free-form" schedule and link it to Microsoft Project
